The session aims to provide the opportunity to work with year 2 colleagues from other schools to standardise TA judgements and identify next steps in writing. It will be in the form of a workshop.
- To identify children’s ‘next steps’ to make progress in writing
- Share subject knowledge and teaching approaches to meet identified needs in writing, including re-visiting long term plans
Teachers will need to bring children’s workbooks / writing evidence to these sessions
This training is aimed at any year 2 teacher who wants to develop AFL practice and knowledge of year 2 expectations and apply this to assessing own class writing.
